I am a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor (M.Med. TCM, China) and natural health professional with a private practice in the centre of Cologne. I have authored three TCM handbooks, and numerous articles on skin health and Chinese herbal medicine. I am also the founder of CHINAMED COSMETICS – a line of natural, modern herbal skincare based on the principles of TCM, made in Germany. I was awarded “Alternative Medicine Specialist of the Year 2020/21”.
I have completed several years of training in Classical Acupuncture, modern Acupuncture methods and Chinese Herbal Medicine in China, Germany and Australia – with a diploma in each. I successfully completed my studies majoring in Chinese Dermatology (pí fū kē, 皮肤科) with the international title ‘Master of Medicine’ (M. Med. TCM) at the Zhèjiāng Chinese Medical University (ZCMU) in Hángzhōu, China.
My particular interest in, and the focus of my practice lies in Gynecological Disorders (TCM Gynecology), Fertility Treatment and Skin Diseases (TCM Dermatology). The greatest influence on my work in Chinese Gynecology has been Steven Clavey (Melbourne, Australia), and in Chinese Dermatology my former tutor Prof. Mǎ Lìlì (Hángzhōu, China). Without their knowledge and expertise, my work would certainly not have been the same.
Dedicating my entire career to the treatment of patients, before starting my own practice I have worked in hospitals, laboratories, universities, national and international clinical research for the pharmaceutical industry, including studies on cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and endocrine disorders for 15 years.
